Good news and bad news. Good news is I have been working on a tutorial. Bad news is the AI on the game "Cornered" is going to need a lot of work. So to try and keep games flowing. "Cornered" will be postponed until I have a two week vacation from school and work. Most likely in the fall.
But for now I will concentrate on helping my nephew out. Colors is a difficult thing to learn when you are bilingual, at first, because there are multiple words for one color. So as to meet the standards of the education system in the USA, I will focus on making a game that teaches colors in English. If anyone in the future decided to translate, this will help many more than just my nephew. Hope you enjoy.
I will describe the game here, and tomorrow post the first of the tutorial series for using Quintus game engine.
The game will be called Penguin Race. It will be a red light/green light game so kids can learn colors, with their names, and pronunciation. I got the idea from memories of when I was a kid playing with flash cards to learn my colors. And I had a sudden flash back for a split second on red light/green light.
